Yes. MyKidReports runs on AWS with TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest. Payments are processed by Stripe and Deluxe — both PCI-DSS compliant. Access is role-based, and we never sell your data. See trust & safety
Do you charge extra for new features?
No. New features are part of the regular product roadmap and are made available to existing centers as they ship — at no extra charge.
How do I set up digital check-in and check-out for a daycare?
Pick how families arrive — a kiosk on a tablet at the door, a six-digit code, a QR code, or contactless check-in from the parent’s own phone. Import your roster, switch it on, and the next drop-off runs on it. Every check-in and check-out is timestamped, signature-capable, and writes straight into attendance, ratios and billing. Most centers are live the same afternoon — there is no hardware to buy.
How does MyKidReports handle daily attendance tracking and state reporting?
Attendance is created by check-in rather than typed up afterwards. Every arrival and departure is timestamped, teacher-to-child ratios are counted live with an alert the moment a room slips out of ratio, and authorised pickup is recorded on every sign-out. Weekly hours total automatically for billing and subsidy claims, and attendance and ratio reports export as PDF or CSV for a licensing visit.
Can a preschool management system handle both admin work and classroom engagement?
Yes — that is the point of one system instead of six. On the admin side: enrollment, tuition billing, attendance, staff scheduling and reporting. In the classroom: daily reports with photos and video, activity and milestone tracking, meals and naps, and real-time messaging to families. Teachers post once from the room and parents see it immediately — nobody re-enters the same information twice.
