How does inviting my school work?+
Fill out the short form above with your name, your child’s school, and a contact at the school if you have one. We’ll reach out to the director with a friendly note that you’d love to see MyKidReports in use, and offer them a free walkthrough. You don’t have to do any awkward selling — we handle the conversation. If you’d rather we keep your name confidential, just say so in the “Why you’re inviting” box.
What if my school already uses another childcare app?+
Send the invitation anyway. Many directors are paying too much, struggling with support, or losing teacher time to clunky childcare software. We’re happy to do a side-by-side comparison and a free trial — including helping migrate roster, billing history, and family data from whatever platform the school is using today. There’s no pressure on the school, and they can stay with what they have.
Is MyKidReports free for parents?+
Yes, completely. The parent app is included in your center’s subscription — there’s no separate cost to you. Centers with 5 or fewer children pay nothing themselves, and larger centers pay $0.99 per child per month under 100 children. There’s no premium tier, no “parent plus,” no in-app upsells.
What features will my child’s center get?+
Everything is included — a real-time activity feed with photos and messaging, daily reports for meals, naps, and activities, kiosk check-in at the front desk, billing with Stripe and Deluxe (ACH or card), enrollment and forms, staff scheduling, and reporting. There are no add-on modules or premium tiers — your child’s teachers and directors get the full product, including the modules they want to use later.
How is parent and child data protected?+
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos and messages are only visible to your child’s family and the teaching staff you’re connected to. Only the parents and approved adults you authorize can see your child’s feed — and you can revoke access anytime from your account. We never sell or share parent data, and we don’t serve advertising in the app.
How do I download the parent app?+
Once your child’s center is set up, you’ll receive an invitation email or text with a one-tap login link. From there, install the free MyKidReports parent app on iOS or Android, or use the web version — whichever you prefer. If your center isn’t set up yet, use the invite form above and we’ll get them started.
